Passport in Time Welcomes the BLM

Passport in Time began as a program of the USDA Forest Service. For more than 18 years, the Forest Service provided the sole support for PIT. Today, we are pleased to announce that the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has joined the PIT Team!

On March 7, 2007, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) became the first partner in this new phase of the PIT program. The BLM Weaving Connections PIT offered by the BLM Arcata Field Office from June 24 through June 29, 2007, became the first PIT project to be sponsored by an agency other than the Forest Service. We welcome the BLM to the PIT program and look forward to more exciting, new opportunities for volunteers within the coming months.
